Saturday was a busy day! Spencer had a race in the morning so he left the house super early and Caden and I took the dogs for a walk in the morning. I had 2 classes so Caden went to play at Amanda's house for a couple hours and then she dropped him off at the Science Center where Caden and I had lunch with a candidate for next year and some other members of the science department. After lunch Caden and I met Daddy over in Princeton where we went to Babies R Us, the furniture store, and then to the lake to watch Uncle Walker race against Yale. It was great to see him and congratulate him in person for being accepted to the submarine community! Hopefully he will come back to Jersey to visit soon because we didn't get a whole lot of time with him.
Since Caden has been doing such a good job sitting up, we decided it was time to invest in a high chair. We picked this one out yesterday and it's been great so far! Caden only lasts about 10 minutes before he is ready to get out, but I'm sure that will change once we start feeding him in there...
The little man had a good night last night. We ate dinner out and he fell asleep in the restaurant at about 7:00 so we let him sleep the whole way home and then we transferred him to his room where he kept sleeping. He woke up a couple times but then did a stretch from about 11:30-5:00! That was a real treat since he has been up every 2-3 hours the past few weeks. Last night was night 4 of him sleeping in his own room...I guess there is no turning back now :( I miss having him so close to us!
