Broccoli?

Caden has been doing an awesome job with his vegetables! We've been pureeing vegetables for him to eat and today we tried some broccoli...he seemed to like it just as much as his carrots, sweet potatoes and peas! We have to buy the peas in a jar because we can't get them smooth enough in the food processor...any suggestions about how to make your own peas, baby food style?

Caden loves going to the Buchner's house while Mommy and Daddy are working! But who wouldn't right?? Between the attention he gets from Ryann and Amdanda, and the constant entertainment provided by Brody he is happy as a clam :)

Amanda took this picture when Caden fell asleep outside under a tree...he slept there for almost an hour! He's wearing his new Robeez from Uncle Hunter and Aunt Jenni which look so cute!

Nap time again at Amanda's house! This is Caden's outfit from Tia Sarah which is adorable...he looks like such a little man! Last night was rough for Caden because he woke up almost every hour. He would cry for about 5 minutes and then go back to sleep. Around 4:00 he woke up and wanted to eat so I nursed him and he went back to sleep until 6:00 when he was up for good. He went to bed around 8:00 tonight and has been seeping for almost 4 hours (I'm on duty which is why it's such a late night!).

Spencer and I were at Babies R Us this weekend and we got Tickle Me Elmo for Caden. We squeezed Elmo's belly in the store and Caden started laughing!! It was the first toy Caden has ever laughed at!

It is finally starting to feel like it's almost summer time here in Hightstown. Tonight while I was rocking Caden to sleep we could hear the hooting and hollering of the volleyball game going on on Center Campus, Spencer was grilling burgers, and it was still light outside! The three of us are excited for summer to arrive....Caden's first vacation will be the Outer Banks in June, then we will go to Maine (with Uncle Kiefer!) in July and Chincoteague in August. In between we will take day trips to the shore and keep ourselves occupied here on campus!
