Caden is still sleeping in his swing at night because that's where he'll do his longest stretches. However, he'll take naps in different places...Mommy and Daddy's bed, for example.
And this afternoon he took a nap in his Baby Bjorn. We went to the mall with Aunt Beanie, Aunt Jenny, and Addie and it was exhausting for the little guy! We had lunch at P.F. Chang's and then went shopping...both babies were really good! Jen was nervous because it was the first time Addie has been out shopping but she was awesome :)
Being out for 5 hours is going to require at least one diaper change. Caden and Addie enjoyed a joint changing session...they were so cute!
Aunt Skylar spent the night with us last night and it was really fun to have her here! As you can see from the photo, Caden loves playing with his Aunt Skylar...they are so cute together. We definitely kept her busy while she was here. We went out for dinner last night and then watched Celebrity Apprentice, then this morning she babysat Caden while I was at the doctor's office. Thanks for all your help, Aunt Skylar!
Skylar and I were trying to get Caden to smile for a picture, but he couldn't take his eyes off the television. As you can see from the photo, we got him to smile, but he was way more interested in ESPN than the camera!
Over the past couple days Caden has gotten good at reaching out and grabbing things he is interested in. It's amazing to see his coordination develop before our eyes. You can see in this picture how he is grabbing onto the ring at the bottom of his giraffe. Pretty cool!
This is a picture of Caden and Spence watching the Princeton vs. Harvard basketball game on Spencer's computer. Caden got hungry before the game was over and ate, then fell asleep on my lap. You can only imagine how startled he was when Princeton scored the game winning shot with less than a second left. I think the entire campus heard Spencer's victory roar...and poor Caden almost jumped out of his jammies!!! Princeton plays in round one of the NCAA tournament on Thursday.........GO TIGERS :)
